lyrics

Be still my aching heart.
We still might catch our cup.
Be still you butterflies, yeah,
Be still inside my gut,
And we still got alibis, and I’ll abide but not before I’ve held this up.

Don’t park here on this night.
This lark just started up.
Be dark my bedroom eyes.
This spark is just a pup;
and your bark commands my bite.
Remark on that oh I will f*ck you up.
And I just realized that I rely too much on you.
So, when will I learn to let you take care of you?
How much more of myself do I have left to renew?
Well, I spend so much time explaining what I have been through,
And how it all relates to you,
so, now I refuse to sit here and waste for you.

When did this all go down?
Why don’t I give this up?
Lay face down on this ground,
Yeah, just let her lift me up.
And, what did you compromise,
How much did you give up?
Oh, who am I to patronize?
Bring it on and I erupt!
And, what are you on that this all looks real to you?
When did I promise you that I’d be true,
To your vacant idea of what you think that I should do and just who I should do it to?
So, now I refuse to waste for you.

Give what you want to receive.
Share what you’ve got, you might see.
We are always as strong as our in-betweens and I learn a little more about what that means every day.

Don’t look before you leap.
Don’t think before you speak.
Just release your mission bell,
you didn’t ask but I’ll still tell you.
I’ve kept this waiting and we’ve all paid our dues.
Still, all this hesitating did... It surely must have kept someone’s dread amused.

When did I learn to let this come to me?
Well I let go of all my patience and set free a little bit more of this apathy.
When this all winds down what will be left of you and me?
Will we still agree?
Everything is always, always meant to be…..

Ya think everything is always, always meant to be??
